Marriage License Overview
If you plan to receive your marriage license in Baker county, both individuals must:

The cost for the marriage license, including the state and county fees is $93.50. However, couples who attend an approved premarital course will only pay $61.00. The fee must be paid in full. Call the county clerk to find out if they require cash or will accept credit for the payment.
Marriage License Use & Restrictions
Marriage licenses in Baker county are issued immediately. However, there is a 3-day waiting period before the marriage license is effective and a couple may be married. Florida residents who complete an approved premarital course can skip the waiting period and qualify for a reduced marriage license purchase rate. Marriage licenses are valid for 60 days from the issue date, and must be returned to the clerk's office within 10 days after the marriage is performed.
